Chupando

Hermana Ostler’s Update – December 16, 2013

This week.

Its mango season. Which means that my belly is swollen with them. I seriously look 6 months pregnant from eating them. There is a verb that is used to describe the giant feasting of mangos that everyone is participating in, “chupando.” I have translated this loosely to mean “makingoutwithmangos.” It’s the best verb ever. I walk around with millions of mango strings in my teeth, an orange mustache from the juice with my greedy little eyes searching for more mangos.  I LOVE THEM.

Also. Mango Jam. Yeah, it is good. Try it.

Lots of lessons with a lot of the Spirit. I am seeing positive changes in the lives of others and this lifts me up. I am not doing this because It’s a cool way to spend a year and a half of my life. It really does change people to know that they are daughters and sons of God and that families can be strong. They don’t have to be broken. That is not necessary. Thanks for all the loving families that have helped me in my life. THANK YOU FOR FAMILIES!

Its Christmas time. So we bought a little tree and sometimes wear Christmas stockings until the sweat begins to drip into our eyeballs. I also scream jingle bell rock about 80 percent of the time. So does my compy. To hear her sing in English. Classic.

But yeah. Still making out with mangos until I can make out with boyzz in a year. And thinking of boyzz makes me sick right now. Ewwwwwy, I will stick with the mangos, thank you.
